# Use the token

> Send the token with the browser identity that made it, before it expires.

A finished job's `result` holds the token and the browser identity that made it.

| Field | Description |
| - | - |
| `token` | The reCAPTCHA response token. |
| `expiresAt` | When the token stops being accepted, as an ISO time. `null` when Google gave no validity. |
| `userAgent` | The `User-Agent` that the token was made with. |
| `acceptLanguage` | The `Accept-Language` that the token was made with. |
| `secUa` | The `sec-ch-ua` header. Absent for a browser that sends no client hints. |
| `secUaMobile` | The `sec-ch-ua-mobile` header. Absent when `secUa` is absent. |
| `secUaPlatform` | The `sec-ch-ua-platform` header. Absent when `secUa` is absent. |

## Send the token

Send the token to your site where the page would send it, usually in a form field or a request body. In the same request, send the browser identity from `result`:

```http theme={null}
POST /login HTTP/1.1
Host: www.example.com
User-Agent: <result.userAgent>
Accept-Language: <result.acceptLanguage>
sec-ch-ua: <result.secUa>
sec-ch-ua-mobile: <result.secUaMobile>
sec-ch-ua-platform: <result.secUaPlatform>
Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
username=...&g-recaptcha-response=<result.token>
```

Leave out the three `sec-ch-ua` headers when `result` has no `secUa`.

## Use it quickly

* A token is good for about two minutes. Use it before `expiresAt`.
* Use each token once. Google accepts a token only one time.
* `expiresAt` is counted from the start of the job, so it is never later than the real expiry.

## Tokens and scores

A token is not a pass. Your site sends the token to Google with its secret key, and Google returns a score and the action. Google decides the score. The API cannot tell you the score of a token.
